With winter fast approaching, professional golfer was looking to have a golf simulator installed inside an existing cabin at the end of her garden. The simulator would serve as a great place to practice any time Charley is home, particularly in the winter, where the cold and wet weather can affect the way you move and swing a golf club.

Charley and her team approached one of the UK’s top installers Golf Sim Rooms to build the simulator, which needed to look stylish while also bringing together the latest and best technology available.

As experts in the field, Golf Sim Rooms, proposed the Optoma ZK608TST, a 4K UHD 6000 lumens laser projector, known for its low latency, installation settings, low maintenance and stunning Golf Sim Picture Mode, which delivers true-to-life greens and blues and bright, crisp imagery, even with lots or ambient light.

Partnering the Optoma projector with a Foresight GCQuad Launch Monitor, a Foresight Dual Layer Impact Screen, a Nagic Golf Tee Up Mat, and Golf Sim Rooms’ signature styling and lighting, the installation team would be able to deliver the perfect simulator for the 6m wide space that Charley wanted to utilize.

Charley’s first impression, walking into the room, with a big smile, and seeing the simulator for the first time was “oh that looks really really good! It’s so nice!”

Golf Sim Rooms have created a warm and stylish room with grassy flooring that is raised so that the transition from the floor to the mat is seamless, while adding to the realism of being on a golf course. The walls are padded, offering insulation, as well as protection against a fast-moving golf ball, and the 19.6 foot wide screen compliments Optoma’s projection, producing stunning picture quality, while safe in the knowledge that it cannot be damaged by a ball.
