RoHS Compliant - Commonly referred to as Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive. The RoHS Directive limits the use of heavy metals (including lead, cadmium, mercury, chromium VI) and two brominated flame retardants (PBB and PBDE). At Optoma, we were compliant well before these requirements became law in 2006.

Brilliant Color - Projector uses Texas Instrument BrilliantColor Technology. DLP projectors produce vibrant colors and rich picture quality. DLP Technology with BrilliantColor uses up to six separate colors.

3D-XL - 3D-ready projector can connect to a 3D-XL converter box to view 3D game, movie and television content.

3D Ready - Projector with 3D capabities to view 3D content using 3D-XL converter box. 3D Content can be viewed with DLP®Link™ 3D glasses when the projector is connected to a computer with a compatible 3D graphics card.

3D Capable (PC) - Projector with 3D capabilities can support emerging 3D content offerings on a computer. 3D Content can be viewed with DLP®Link™ 3D glasses when the projector is connected to a computer with a compatible 3D graphics card.

3D Capable (Gaming) - Projector with 3D capabilities can support emerging 3D content offerings on gaming consoles. 3D Content can be viewed with DLP®Link™ 3D glasses when the projector is connected to a computer with a compatible 3D graphics card.

3D Interactive - Multimedia projector with interactive 3D function. This function allows users to access teaching resources to upgrade plain whiteboards and screens (or even a plain wall) into an immersive learning experience.

AMX management capable - Projector is compatible with AMX automation and technology control devices.

Full 3D 720p - A projector has 3D capability with 720p resolution. This projector can connect directly to a 3D devices to display 3D content. 720p refers to a category of HDTV video modes with a resolution of 1280 pixels wide ×720 pixels high.

Full 3D 1080p - The projector has 3D capability with 1080p resolution. This projector can connect directly to a 3D devices to display 3D content. 1080p refers to a category of HDTV high-definition video modes that are characterized by 1080 horizontal lines of vertical resolution and progressive scan. This is assuming that the widescreen aspect ratio is 16:9 and resolution is 1,920 pixels wide by 1,080 pixels high.

Sixteen-Nine - Projector displays image aspect ratio with a width of 16 units and height of 9. This is the most common aspect ratio used for telivisions and computer monitors.

Sixteen-Ten - Projector displays aspect ratio with a width of 16 units and height of 10. This is common for LCD monitors and standard for laptops and notebooks.

HDTV Compatible - Projector is compatible with HDTV format. High-definition television (HDTV) has one to two million pixels per frame. The resolution is substantially higher than standard-definition TV.

True HD 1080P - Projector is capable of displaying native 1080P (1,920 x 1,080) resolution images.

HDMI - Projector supports HDMI connectivity. HDMI is a compact audio/video interface for transmitting uncompressed digital data and is an alternate to consumer analog standards.

nVidia 3D Vision - Projector is Nvidia 3D Vision certified to work seamlessly with 3D Vision to establish the highest quality and most diverse collection of 3D PCs available.

Pico Pocket Projector - Projector is a member of the Optoma Pico Pocket family. Pico projectors are Optoma's LED-based mobile solutions that let you share media anywhere.

PlayTime Series - Projector is a member of the Optoma PlayTime family. PlayTime projectors are Optoma's LED based designed for anyone who wants to take their video games and movies with them so the fun goes wherever they go. 

Powered by LED - Projector uses a light-emitting diode (LED) light source instead of a traditional lamp. LED increases lamp life and reduces the need to use the earth's valuable resources.
