Optoma Reinforces Data Projector Line with Two New WXGA, 3D-Capable, Super Bright Models
FREMONT, Calif. | June 13, 2011 | Bolstering its already extensive line of high-power, multimedia data projectors, Optoma, the leading maker of DLP projectors in the Americas, has announced the addition of two new models: The 4000-lumen TW762 and 3500-lumen TW615-3D. Both build on the success of the company’s popular XGA models by offering improved resolution to WXGA (1280 x 800 pixels) and adding 3D capabilities. The TW762, with a MAP of $1,099, is available now, while the TW615-3D is scheduled for availability in July at a price of $899.
“These projectors really round out our line and will help us meet the market’s demand for more powerful and versatile data projectors,” said Jon Grodem, Optoma’s senior director of product and marketing. The TW762 and the TW615-3D are designed to meet even the most challenging ambient light conditions and are perfect for conference rooms, meeting rooms, training facilities and classrooms.
In addition to its 4000 ANSI lumens, the TW762 offers an internal 8-watt speaker, compatibility with Crestron RoomView™ for remote monitoring and control over a network, and provides extensive connection options including HDMI, USB, two VGA-in, VGA-out, S-Video, composite video, three stereo audio-in, stereo audio-out, an RJ45 port, an RS-232 port, and a12V trigger.
The TW615-3D couples a robust 3500 ANSI lumens output with a 3000:1 contrast ratio. It utilizes two five-watt speakers, providing ample audio output to fill a small room, and it offers a similar complement of connectivity options: HDMI, USB, two VGA-in, VGA-out, S-Video, composite video, three stereo audio-in, stereo audio-out, an RJ45 port, an RS-232 port, and a12V trigger.
Both projectors are covered under Optoma’s 3-year Express Warranty program, with a year of coverage on the lamps.
