FREMONT, Calif. | June 13, 2011 | Optoma®, a worldwide leader in digital projectors and projection technology, today announced an upgrade to two of its best-selling projectors. The 1080p HD TH1060P now boasts a brightness of 4500 lumens, which is an increase from its original 3500 lumens. The XGA resolution TX779P-3D brightness has been increased to 5000 lumens. The TH1060P is available now at a price of $1,599, while the TX779P-3D will be available in mid-July, also for $1,599.

“The power boost to these two projectors will keep them at the top of their class, both in performance and value,” said Jon Grodem, Optoma’s Sr. director of product and marketing.

The TH1060P delivers clear widescreen images to ensure that your audience experiences the full impact of your message. Bright enough for use in large conference rooms and classrooms, it offers a wide range of analog and digital connectivity options for high-resolution sources, including Crestron’s RoomView® user-friendly interface by which users can easily monitor, manage and control it remotely via its RJ45 connection.

TX779P-3D provides outstanding video and data display in large rooms and in rooms with high ambient light. Like the TH1060P, the TX779P-3D embraces Crestron’s RoomView technology for remote management and control. The TX779P-3D also incorporates energy and money-saving features including sub-1 watt standby mode.
